computer security slot
Norton Internet Security Question?
I am running xp using norton2008……my computer only has 1 memory slot and that has 1 GB of RAM……………the computer works fine but when norton kicks in which is about every 1-2 hours ito update it takes up all the memory on the computer (the fan comes on and the green task manager indicator shows 100% cpu usage ).its quite annoying as the computer is unusable until the update has finished loading……………my question is …………is there a way of limiting how fast the norton update loads so it takes a little longer but enables me to continue using the computer………………i am happy with using norton as it seems to do a good job of protecting the computer and do not wish to change it
The best thing to do with Norton is get rid of it, it’s one of the worse anti virus progs ever ! The free ones such as AVG and Avast will do the job just as good if not better
