CIS is end user administration and management of software.
Database magagement includes updating, backing up, granting users access level (read only, read/write), SQL, it will probably deal with SQL Server, My SQL and ORacle, maybe Access or dBASE. Program anaylst looks at programs or software and advises the company on waht they do, how they work, how easy they are to use. Web management deal with the Web site, Server, Ports, Access level (read, read/write, FTP).
CIT
Deals with the hardware and administration software packages. Firewalls, blocking sites, access levels to the Intranet and Internet, Networking, File Servers, Print Servers, Routers, Cisco sytems, PC Support and Administration is help desk and higher level help and fixing problems with end user nodes.
These prepair you for an entry level job. CIS is more a front office administration job that is probably easier to find work in.
CIT is back end support and there you are dealing with people who have been in IT for 20 years, have a Masters Degree, know all the suppliers, know all the hardware.
Entry level there could be the general help desk.
