and what are the different jobs in this field, what is the payscale ,what are its scope in india and foreign, is it suitable for girls. if you can give me any link to the sites giving these details that would be much appreciated. thank you
My answer is totally about the USA and I can’t answer to specifics about India.
Cisco Certifications are generally considered some of the best networking certifications in the field due to the difficulty in the test. Having a CCNA is probably not enough to get a job. In the US a Computer Engineering degree is much more valuable. If you do not want to complete a bachelor’s degree then you would probably need a CCNP as a minimum. The best suggestion is to get a bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering and then get a job. Once you have a job begin getting your certifications. They could lead to increased pay or greater job opportunities.
Starting pay for a computer engineer in the US is approximately $60,000 depending on location.
